Roc et Glace escalade | climbing
Roc and glace, is fantastic! We did the introductory course to ice climbing and had a blast. Steve took the time to teach us the proper technique, and gave us a few exercises to help reinforce the basics. With this knowledge we were able to improve and the climbing became easier by the end of the day. Steves passion for the sport radiates through his teaching, making the experience that much more memorable. Awesome experience, would highly recommend to anyone!

Luc was a fantastic instructor! Extremely patient and adaptable to the skills of the participants. The written guides he gives out for his autonomous top roping course are comprehensive and incredibly helpful. Luc’s course gave the group the confidence to top rope safely and we will definitely be coming back for future classes!

Steve is a great instructor. He adapts the training to your needs. Takes the time to insure all the material has been well assimilated before getting on the wall. He chooses great routes to practice while keeping safety first and then allows for plenty of repetitions so that theory is put into real situations. It was a great experience learning sport climbing outdoors from a knowledgeable instructor and looking forward to other sessions with Steve to go deeper and hopefully do Trad at some point in the future. Would recommend him to anyone who is looking to take on climbing outdoors.

We had such a great day learning to belay and climb outdoors. We were in the best hands possible in terms of teaching and safety. Totally exhausted afterwards, but in the best way. Would definitely book with Roc et Glace again.

A group of 5 of us went ice climbing with Luc as the instructor. From the moment we met Luc the experience was great. We arrived at the parking lot at 0830 and by that point all of the routes were already set up and Luc was waiting for us with the gear we needed. Throughout the day Luc taught us a lot of the fundamentals of ice climbing, and even expanded onto creating anchors. Even if you have no desire to climb on your own, this is still a highly recommended experience for anyone interested in the sport.

Our private group of 4 indoor climbers took an outdoor top-rope transition course. Steve is a knowledgeable mountain guide and well-organized instructor; we had a good learning experience and would gladly recommend this course.

In the last 3 years I took several activities with the guides of this school (a day of top-roping with friends, a day of ice top-roping, and a sport multi-pitch course) and absolutely loved it. Steve is strict and is a good teacher, I loved his no BS approach and how well he explains. I would absolutely come back for another course.

My partner and I did a 2-day top roping/ transition course. Our goal was to be autonomous climbers after two days. Luc and Steve are both amazing instructors! We were lucky to have 1:1 instruction and felt no concerns or stress. It was an awesome experience; thorough, educational and fun! Steve and Luc teaches you the fundamentals and I will never forget SRENE! A course that solidifies redundancy will guarantee your safety and lifelong goals in climbing! Thank you Luc & Steve!
